Implantology
Everybody wants to be able to smile at his environment with beautiful teeth. So, what do we do when we have lost a tooth or teeth through an accident or illness, such as Periodontosis? Well, Implants (synthetic/artificial teeth) are the answer! In this day and age, Implants now make it possible, in various situations, for the restoring of teeth using aesthetic and firm dental prostheses.
Whether it be the ‚gap between the teeth’ to teeth that are to short, up to toothless patients, Implants are one of the most first class and foremost reliable alternatives of treatment used today.
Should a single tooth be lost, it is possible to enhance ones cosmetic outlook by inserting an Implant giving fantastic results. Important here: there are to be no residues on other healthy neighboring teeth.
Should there be an inducement in the number of teeth or teeth are shorter than normal, adding implants can increase the volume so that a comfortable and firmly bonded row of teeth can be easily made.
A considerable improvement of ones quality of life is easily reached for toothless patients through the insertion of Implants. Earlier prostheses suddenly sit comfortably and firm – without having to have new ones regularly manufactured.
By request, it is also possible to insert between 6-8 implants making a bridge of teeth in a complete toothless mouth.
Fundamentally, an implant is inserted in the bone of the jaw in a gentle manner using a local anaesthetic. Depending on ones individual bone structure after the implants are placed, they must be left undisturbed under the gum tissues for a healing period of two to five months. During this time, it is usual that provisional dental prosthesis is to be worn.
Afterwards the new teeth are manufactured with much enthusiasm and with much care to detail, inserted by our dental technician.
In some cases it is necessary to offer a new small bone structure. But even in such cases today’s dental practice allows us to make it possible for reconstruction.
When it comes down to bone structure (Augmentation), using ones own bone, bone synthetics or a combination of both are the answer to the problem. Even in areas such as the sinuses, it is possible to use suitable measures like the Sinus Lift to be able to regenerate stable bone.
Together we find the most suitable method for you, so that you can enjoy life again with firm and beautiful teeth.
